Sydney Sports Management Group (SSMG) have appointed Ozren Vukelic to the position of General Manager Sales, Marketing and Human Resources role as the sports management company prepares to continue its growth.
Ozren Vukelic most recently led the growth of Rec Alley Gymnastics in Sydney’s South-West achieving Gymnastics NSW’s large club of the year 2018 & 2019 and recording strong yearly membership and staff growth. In addition to working in recreation, Ozren has worked for state government, not-for-profit organisations and in other industries that include hospitality and clubs.
SSMG have recently partnered with Voyager Tennis, Anderson Events and Collective Leisure to grow its recreation and sports programming capabilities. They have recently secured six facility management contracts with a number of Local Government partners including the City of Canada Bay, City of Willoughby, City of Ryde and Bayside Council.
SSMG’s Chief Executive, Richard Price, is pleased with the appointment and looks forward to further building SSMG’s capabilities in sports management.

Vukelic starts his new role in February and is upbeat about the opportunities ahead.
